yes, Emmett was born on the 8th August (2 days before due date - although they think he was overdue as he was very peely and red!) He weighed 8 pd 3 which is awesome - my goal was to get a good 7 pound baby!!
Waters broke at 1.30am and 2.30am, then contractions started at 3.10am. Rung midwife and grandparents at 4am, and left for the hospital in Stratford at4.20am. Arrived at 4.45am and was 8cm along already!! Emmett was born at 5.48am with no drugs and 2 pushes! Heck, only 2 hours forty of contractions and birth!
all going well so far - just trying to get used to the broken sleeps
